Another thing that you should avoid using are cleaners that are super weak. Vinegar might work as a disinfectant, but it is not that great in cleaning tile and grout. If you mix it with baking soda, it does work a little bit better, but by itself, it should not be used. There are some cleaners that worked really well. The best grout cleaner will contain a little bit of bleach, or at least an oxidizing agent that helps to break up and remove stains. The hardest types of stains to remove on grout are those that are caused by mildew. What I can recommend for mildew stain removal is called X – 14. This cleaner is made by the same company that makes WD-40. I don’t know what it contains, but it does an amazing job as a grout cleaner. If you want to use it to clean grout, all you have to do is simply spray it on and then wait. You come back after about 30 minute after you sprayed the bleach and the wipe it dry. Most of the time, the mildew stain is also gone. This is a great way to help brighten your tile grout and get rid of tough mildew stains. A lot of people who have used this product have also recommended that you use it in an area of your home that is well ventilated. Make sure that you have fans running, or that you have your windows open so that you do not inhale too much of this product.

The first  medium duty grout cleaner is Kaboom. It is made by the same people that make oxidizing bleach. And it is basically their secret ingredient. Because it has oxidizing bleach, it does a good job at lightening and whitening grout lines. It also gets rid of grout stains pretty quickly and effectively. The next type of grout cleaner that is a good intermediary cleaner is ordinary Soft Scrub. If you get the kind that has bleach mixed with it, it is already going to be a little bit stronger, but the ordinary Soft Scrub seems to work pretty well at getting rid of stubborn grout stains. Although, when you use the ordinary kind, you will have to do some scrubbing to get rid of the discoloration. The benefit is that once you’re finished, it will look really good. Make sure you take the time to admire your work when you’re done and make sure that you got rid of all of the stains.

If you have Japanese beetles in your lawn, the best time to treat them is during the fall when they are actively feeding. If you have June beetles or May beetles, it is probably a better idea to wait for the spring. The downside to organophosphates is that they attack the nervous system, and they can also affect animals and even humans if there is a large concentration on your yard.

Another method in controlling grubs involves wearing lawn aerator shoes on your feet. Even though they are pretty poor ways to aerate your lawn, they do an okay job at killing grubs. Sometimes all you need to do is reduce the grub population by 40 to 50%. This will prevent them from doing major damage. By wearing aerator shoes, you can do just that.
