The Advantage of Owning a Jewelry Armoire

For Christmas, my husband bought me many things, but my favorite of all the presents this year – and the only one I got that wasn’t specifically on my list, which makes it all the more special – is my jewelry armoire.

Over the years, my jewelry collection has grown to be rather large. The problem isn’t so much having room to store it – nearly any drawer in any cabinet can hold an enormous collection of jewelry space wise. The trick is having a storage mechanism that both holds and organizes your jewelry properly. And this is exactly what my jewelry armoire does for me – it gives a home to my rings, necklaces, bracelets, and charms. It gives me the leverage to properly hold them safely, without fear of scratching or misplacing them, as well as being so simple to find that I need only to open the right drawer to find what I’m looking for.

My armoire came from a company known as Vision Decor. It has a white wooden finish and beautiful roses painted (hand painted, from the looks of it!) on the side. It’s a gorgeous armoire if there ever was one, and it’s looks fantastic in our bedroom right next to our oak wardrobe closet.

If you or your wife is in the market for a nice jewelry armoire, I’ll tell you a few things to look for. Number one, if the rest of your furniture is of a solid wood finish, seek the same in the armoire. However, if not, go for something with a unique design, such as painted roses. Another feature to look for is that of a mirror on the armoire. Strangely, not every design comes equipped with a mirror. How am I suppose to look at myself in the jewelry without a mirror? So your wife will definitely appreciated a mirrored armoire. Last, even though there are many over sized jewelry armoires, some standing 4 and 5 feet high, this is absurd. No one but a museum needs a collection holder of those proportions. A more elegant, petite jewelry armoire with a nice design and nice mirror will stand better and get more use and appreciation!
