Spending time with my kids is so important to me as it is to so many people. However, today there are so many different pressures and distractions that keep us from enjoying quality time with those most dear to us. We are always looking for short cuts and ways to find more time. Well, I’ve noticed with myself that I have tried to combine my relaxing time with special children time. Why not spend time with the kids and get to relax and unwind as well.
Today the weather is warm and pleasant so you can enjoy some quality time outside. While your little ones climb up and down the slide and outdoor play area you can relax on a lawn chair. You can’t close your eyes but most certainly you can take a breather. Your children will love it as you are outside with them and giving them your love and attention. They do not want or ask for anything more. The smiles and contentment will show on their faces.
If the weather is too hot or it is raining you can do the same thing on a big leather chair or rocking chair. If you sit and relax on a chair in the room that they will play in they are so much happier and feel your attention. They may even bring you some books to read while cuddling up next to you.
Children lover spending time with their parents and doing what mommy and daddy are doing. They enjoy this quality time and it can be quiet and relaxing minutes for you.
Whether it is on a lawn chair or in a big comfortable leather chair or even sitting outside on a folding chair. It will be these precious moments that will stay etched in your memory as you remember fondly the childhood of your children once they are no longer so little.
